Italian Perspective in Philippe Antonio Poloni's Novel "Olivo Oliva"

Poloni is a second-generation Italian-Québécois writer. In his works, he insists on the opposition between fiction and reality, developing a fictional and fragmented vision of Italian-ness. The ideas of the homeland and of past origins become void of meaning. At the end, Italian-ness is only a literary projection of the author.
